This Month's TOP PRODUCER is Rob Gallmann from Ohio
“Kicking it up a notch” is a part of daily life for Rob Gallmann of RE/MAX Haven Realty in Cleveland, Ohio. As a full-time REALTOR® for almost ten years, Rob uses a “personal touch” philosophy that allows him and his team members to provide a level of service their clients will not soon forget. “Our buyers,” said Gallmann, “receive lunch delivered to them on the day of their move, and our sellers receive a gift that we tailor to their personality.” They also make sure to send birthday cards to all their current clients and their families, with the children receiving a $2 bill and the adults receiving a scratch-off lottery ticket. Every October, Rob and his team hold a client appreciation picnic, with catered food, lots of games and activities for the kids, and an ice cream truck for dessert. Last year, the RE/MAX hot air balloon even showed up to gave rides to all their clients and families.
Gallmann says that he never forgets that he is in a business where people buy or sell probably the single largest and most important item in their lives. “We take this responsibility very seriously,” Gallmann explains, “and we service our clients as we would want to be serviced. We focus on the people and their needs, understanding that to a buyer it is a home, not a house.”
Rob’s mentor in real estate is his mother, Suzanne Gallmann. Within five years of starting in the Cleveland market in 1981, she was the number one REALTOR® in her company. Rob said that he owes his own selling style to his mother. “She has a very effective soft-style selling technique,” said Rob. “She continually focuses on the people in the transaction.” He goes on to say that Suzanne taught him that real estate is a numbers game: the more people you interact with, the more units you do a year. “Desire and drive, both the basis of the work ethic,” Gallmann continues, “are paramount to being successful in growing the number of people you touch in a given day, month or year. Finding ways to grow those numbers will grow your business. A strong work ethic will allow you to keep the course and stay focused on the task and the end goal.”
Rob Gallmann and The Gallmann Group have helped 136 families in the purchase or sale of their home for 2005. The closed volume will be just under $39 million.
