Tamara Dorris has appeared on dozens of local television and national radio shows, and been quoted as a personal development expert in national magazines like Seventeen, Weight Watchers, and Woman’s Day. How could someone who was once afraid to answer the front door end up having lunch with Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul fame and star of the movie The Secret) and getting his endorsement on one of her books? Brain Tracy, famed motivational speaker, offered his endorsement to Tamara’s work as well.

The techniques she learned are the same exact ones she teaches in her Real Estate Training and Coaching Program

 

First licensed in the 1980’s, Tamara went to work with the California Association of Realtors and got her first taste of training agents when she traveled around conducting WINForms seminars. Spending years as the Marketing Communications Manger with CAR, meeting thousands of agents, and brokers, and industry experts. Her first real estate book, See How They Sell, Success in Real Estate, includes a foreword and interview from then-president of NAR, Richard Mendenhall.

 

After realizing that there were many people who wanted a better life, Tamara pursued her education in psychology and communications and continued writing personal development books to share with others what had made such an enormous impact in her own life.

 

Recognizing the subconscious mind as a culprit to many people’s lives, Tamara studied and earned certification in hypnotherapy and started a successful side-practice. She now uses hypnosis to help her real estate agent clients overcome their own self-limiting beliefs.

 

While teaching new agents in the college and university setting, Tamara noticed that it wasn’t the facts and contracts her students struggled with, but the role-playing and communication exercises that caused them so much trouble. While she could help students be prepared by teaching them ways to overcome objections, prepare marketing plans and listing presentations, she couldn’t very well teach them about the law of attraction and self-confidence in the classroom.

Tamara is also a big proponent and practitioner of Feng Shui, and ancient Chinese art and science of placement, and teaches that to her agent clients.


As a result, Top Producing Techniques Real Estate Coaching and Training was born. Tamara knew that brand new and struggling real estate agents didn’t have big budgets and couldn’t invest hundreds of dollars each month into their real estate training and coaching programs, and she also knew that literally all real estate coaching and training programs didn’t spend ANY time on confidence, mind-set, rapport building and overcoming self-limiting beliefs. Developing a membership-based website that included weekly group coaching calls, expert interview recordings and teleseminars, and ample training and marketing materials, Tamara found a way to support agents from the comfort of their own homes and office, at an investment that virtually any agent could handle.

Tamara also provides one-on-one coaching with real estate agents and brokers, conducts office trainings and workshops, bi-annual intensive boot camps, and key note speeches.
